Terms and Conditions

1. Registration and Payment

1.1 Booking Confirmation
All bookings require a deposit to secure your place. A booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received and acknowledged by DeepMed.

1.2 Payment of Fees
The remaining balance must be paid prior to the start of the course. Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or cash in local currency. Full payment is required before course commencement unless otherwise specified.

1.3 Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by Participant All cancellations must be submitted in writing (email or WhatsApp). Deposits are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.

As a gesture of goodwill, DeepMed may, at its sole discretion, allow the deposit to be applied as credit toward a future booking of the same course or package type, within 12 months of the original booking date. This is not a right and is offered on a case-by-case basis.

Cancellation by DeepMed In the unlikely event that DeepMed needs to cancel a course, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

1.4 No-Show Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled course without prior notice, your booking will be treated as canceled, and no refund will be provided.

2. Participant Requirements

2.1 Health and Medical Declaration
Freediving is a physically demanding activity that requires participants to be in good health. Participants must complete a medical declaration form and inform DeepMed of any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect their ability to dive.

2.2 Minimum Age Requirement
Participants must be at least 18 years old, or 16 with parental consent, to enroll in DeepMed courses.

3. Course Changes and Conditions

3.1 Weather and Environmental Conditions
DeepMed reserves the right to adjust or reschedule courses due to weather, ocean conditions, or other factors beyond our control. In such cases, we will notify participants as early as possible and provide alternatives where feasible.

3.2 Course Adjustments
In cases where a participant is unable to meet course requirements or safety standards, DeepMed reserves the right to adjust or end participation. No refund will be provided if participants are removed from the course for failure to follow safety or course guidelines.

4. Liability and Safety

4.1 Acknowledgment of Risk
By enrolling, participants acknowledge that freediving involves inherent risks. DeepMed takes all possible measures to ensure safety but cannot be held liable for any injuries, accidents, or losses.

4.2 Insurance
Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain personal travel and/or dive insurance that specifically covers freediving activities / diving related activities. Please note that any illness or sickness occurring during your freediving holiday remains your responsibility and will not be covered by Deep Med Freediving.

5. Accommodation

5.1 Booking Confirmation

Accommodation bookings require a deposit to secure the room. The booking is confirmed for the full duration stated on the invoice once the deposit is received.

5.2 Cancellation & Early Departure

The deposit is non-refundable. Early departure does not entitle the guest to a refund for unused nights — the full invoiced amount remains due.

5.3 Remaining Balance

The outstanding balance is due on or before check-in.

Winter Season Discount

Please note that during the winter season (November to May), our boat is not available. However, this does not affect our pricing. Our rates remain the same year-round. The boat is a valuable addition to our services, but it has always been included at no extra cost. Whether it’s summer or winter, we remain committed to delivering high-quality freediving experiences in all conditions.
