Terms and Conditions

1. Registration and Payment

1.1 Booking Confirmation
All bookings require a deposit to secure your place. A booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received and acknowledged by DeepMed.

1.2 Payment of Fees
The remaining balance must be paid prior to the start of the course. Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or cash in local currency. Full payment is required before course commencement unless otherwise specified.

1.3 Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation by Participant: Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the course start date for a full refund of the deposit. If you cancel within 7 days, your deposit may be non-refundable unless your spot can be filled.
  • Cancellation by DeepMed: In the unlikely event we need to cancel a course, you will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule for a later date.

1.4 No-Show Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled course without prior notice, your booking will be treated as canceled, and no refund will be provided.

2. Participant Requirements

2.1 Health and Medical Declaration
Freediving is a physically demanding activity that requires participants to be in good health. Participants must complete a medical declaration form and inform DeepMed of any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect their ability to dive.

2.2 Minimum Age Requirement
Participants must be at least 18 years old, or 16 with parental consent, to enroll in DeepMed courses.

3. Course Changes and Conditions

3.1 Weather and Environmental Conditions
DeepMed reserves the right to adjust or reschedule courses due to weather, ocean conditions, or other factors beyond our control. In such cases, we will notify participants as early as possible and provide alternatives where feasible.

3.2 Course Adjustments
In cases where a participant is unable to meet course requirements or safety standards, DeepMed reserves the right to adjust or end participation. No refund will be provided if participants are removed from the course for failure to follow safety or course guidelines.

4. Liability and Safety

4.1 Acknowledgment of Risk
By enrolling, participants acknowledge that freediving involves inherent risks. DeepMed takes all possible measures to ensure safety but cannot be held liable for any injuries, accidents, or losses.

4.2 Insurance
Participants are encouraged to obtain personal travel or dive insurance that covers freediving.
