The Deep Calender

We work on a rotation of Two days on and One day off.  The schedule for complete beginners and those who know how to freedive is explained below. We are a team of two so we’ll have the option to fit you in!

The structre

Rest day / Off day / Dry day – We spend two to three hours practicing breathing, breath-holding and equalisation exercises. The rest of the day is all yours to Enjoy Gozo. Why do we rest? Freediving is physically and mentally exhausting. Rest is best!

Beginners must always start on the off day where no in-water activity happens. We will go through breathing, breath-holding and equalisation practice to prepare you for the next day.

Experienced freedivers will also have the option to join in on the dry sessions and take part in our breathing, breath-holding and dry equalisation practice.  In fact, we encourage you to join! Experienced freedivers who take part in our coaching / Wave 2 / Wave 3 programs can start on any day they wish.

***NOTE*** – There are some over lapping courses already set. This is due to old bookings with the old system. Get in touch for more info

Malta & Gozo as a European Freediving destination.

Malta & Gozo, situated at the heart of the mediterranean, are very well connected as a freediving destination in Europe. The islands are a freedivers dream; plenty of caves and wrecks to play with and to top it all off, easy access to depth. More so in Gozo. In fact, Gozo as a freediving destination is more appealing to the average freediver, mainly due to its shape and cover from the wind.

Malta International Airport has extensive airline coverage and provides access from all the major cities across the globe. Transfer to Gozo

The journey to Gozo, Malta’s sister island, is an experience in itself. There are two ferries both operating from a different location. The Gozo Fast ferry  (passenger only)is the one we recommend that sets off from Valletta ,which is only a 10 minute taxi from the Ariport. The fast ferry takes approximately 45 minutes. The second option is the slower ferry (passenger and car) from Cirkewwa which takes 20 minutes to cross the channel. This ferry offers more of a scenic routre with views of Comino.  Both options present a glimpse of the archipelago’s beauty, easing you into the tranquil pace of island life.

Why Gozo, other than Malta?

Around 4 years ago, we moved away from Malta. Here are just a few reasons why we did

  • Tranquil and less crowded
  • Unique underwater terrain
  • Ultimate protection from the wind
  • Accessibility of many dive sites
  • Views from the water whilst freediving

Freediving Courses, Excursions, Coaching, and Training

Our range of courses and coaching programs cater to every level freediver, from beginners to advanced. Our choice for education is the Molchanovs certification courses, but our recommendation for the improvement of freediving skills would be our coaching programs. Adventure diving is something we include once on a weekly basis. Gozo is riddled with underwater rock formations and caves with playful swim-throughs and endless deep, electrifying blues! Malta & Comino have playful wrecks, sitting on a sea-bed of white sand.

How We Do It

Step by step, we will asses you in the water and feed you information which would be limited by how quickly you absorb it. We will slowly work on new skills as well as build on old ones; both on land, and in the water. A process that takes work, patience, time and dedication, but will leave you diving in peace and joy. We will support you in the water every step of the way. This is our objective, this is our mission.
